Nita Lowey Clicks for Hillary
As an avid internet news reader, I was caught by suprise on Saturday afternoon when our home phone rang. On the other end of the phone was Nita Lowey, a local congressional hag who was stumping for Hillary. Nita is not well liked in our house. She pissed me off over something in the 90′s, and her tikkun olam worldview reinforces my distrust of her. Either way, I called her a name and Lisa hung up on her. Just moments later, I was reading a story that Ms. Lowey had taken ill just moments ago at a Clinton rally in White Plains and was rushed to a local hospital. That surely was more than mere coinsidence, I thought. The picture showed White Plains EMS rolling poor Nita out to the bus with that look on her face, the look of victory. The story was worth 10,000 clicks, each one a click for Hillary.
At the same time, more or less, a new “caucus’ blog was started in the Times reporting that there would be no reporting during the Super Bowl and outlining the candidates plans for Super Sunday evening. They have none, thank you.

My point is that the mere placement of the story, front and center, and it’s obvious lack merit was an embarrasment. Some of the stories you see today are just plain rubbish. That was one of them. They did, though, link to the story of Nita doing her header off the dias in White Plains. Now that’s what I call news.
We hope too, she feels better.
