Obama in Germany: What are they thinking?

Brandenburg

In what seems like an asinine attempt to woo the German vote, the Obama Campaign has decided to reserve the Brandenburg Gate in Germany for a last minute speech before the Convention later this summer. Jewish-American Democrats, who still hold Henry Ford responsible for the Holocaust, are being told to forget about the past and join Obama on the long road, via Berlin, to the White House.

Explaining that Barry needs to make a quick right turn, his campaign is hoping that a little of Ronald Regan or JFK will rub off on the rookie Senator from Illinois. As an added bonus, they just might get a couple of YouTube minutes at the epicenter of the worlds greatest genocide in history.

Meanwhile, German Chancellor Merkel who is a center-rightist, has “only limited understanding for using the Brandenburg Gate as an election campaign backdrop,” and that she had “great skepticism as to whether it is appropriate to bring an election campaign being fought in the United States to the Brandenburg Gate.” Obama’s handlers meanwhile are hoping some of Merkel’s conserative views would also rub off on Barry, who under other circumstances would be locked up as a left-wing agitator in the Fatherland.

Needless to say, Mrs. Merkel can rest assured that countless Americans feel exactly the same way, and the smart ones are betting that this campaign stop may never happen.
